Summer is Short, but Punch and Cheese and is Forever.

A charcuterie/cheese board + punch is and will always be served at any gatherings or parties I throw, all year round. It’s easy to put together and is always the center-piece at the table.

You can never go wrong putting this together a charcuterie/cheese board following these basic rules:

  • Have a variety of cheese, meat, fruit, dip, and crackers/bread.

  • Slice into easy-to-grab, bite-size pieces.

  • Arrange and spread out ingredients - dips in a saucer on opposite ends. Spread out the remaining ingredients into clusters.

For punch:

  • Follow any cocktail recipe and re-measure ingredients to serve 10. I loosely follow a recipe or sometimes wing and taste test.

  • Add sliced fruit on top - either slices of oranges, blood oranges, lemons, limes, etc

  • Punch bowl and ladle is a must.

  • Don’t forget the ice.

This spread was put together using produce and food that I received in my Imperfect Foods delivery along with items already in my pantry.

Charcuterie/cheese board:

  • 3 types of cheeses (goat cheese, mozzarella, cheddar)

  • 2 types of meats (salami, prosciutto spread)

  • Fruit (figs, nectarines, grapes)

  • Dip (fig jam, apple butter)

  • Sesame crackers
